Due to current growth the business has a created a new role within the NPD function. We are excited to support our partner in their search for an Assistant NPD Manager

Role Overview:

As the Assistant NPD Manager you will be an integral part of the company's growth strategy working on both EPD and NPD projects with both existing and potential new customers. You will lead projects from the initial brief to factory handover. It's a varied role in a fast-paced food business that is highly regarded for quality and innovation. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing EPD and NPD project delivery for specific customers.
  • Cost products effectively to meet margin expectations.
  • Working cross-functionally with other stakeholders (factory, planning, technical, commercial and procurement) to deliver end to end product development.
  • Presenting new trends, ideas and concepts to both internal stakeholders and customers.

Candidate Overview:

  • Minimum of 3 years NPD experience within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience of managing a project from concept through to launch
  • Worked on own/private label products for the UK major retailers
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • A passion for the food industry.
  • The ability to think creatively and analytically as part of a team.
