Your new roleThis is a new Ledger Analyst job. The main purpose of this new job is to maintain and actively resolve historical and current issues within a specific portfolio; reconciliation and allocation of cash and monitoring of bad debt exposure; ensuring all inward payments to third parties are made; liaising and updating 4 key teams across the business. Duties will be varied, and include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of payable amounts (inward balances) on designated accounts.
  • Responsible for the investigation and reconciliation of unallocated cash.
  • Ensure that all cash received is posted to the ledgers and reconciled with technical transactions within 30 days of receipt.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this job, you will need to be proactive, highly motivated and willing to learn new skills and systems; have previous ledger reconciliation experience which can demonstrate the ability to prioritise and break down complex tasks; insurance or financial services experience is beneficial, as well as being punctual and having the ability to ensure deadlines are met.
