Job Purpose
  • Support a portfolio of clients, maintaining excellent rapport as their go-to advisor
  • Preparation of financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Deliver corporation and personal tax compliance services
  • Work closely with the Client Manager and Partners to support the commercial aspects of portfolio management
  • Review accounts files and support the tax planning process
  • Mentor junior staff through constructive feedback and knowledge sharing
  • Review processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery
  • Monitor workflow and deliverables to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
  • Support the firm to continue on its trajectory of growth with regular networking and contributing innovative ideas for expansion
  • Set an example as a hands-on team player

Job Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • A minimum of 2 years’ practice experience
  • A proven track record of supporting clients
  • Previous supervisory experience with good people management skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbally
  • A high level of IT proficiency, with the ability to use MS Office, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong commercial acumen and an enthusiasm to support business growth
  • Friendly and professional demeanour, able to inspire a team
  • Self-motivated, highly organised and able to work autonomously to meet deadlines
  • Able to confidently work closely with Partners
