EA First are partnering with a large and well-respected accountancy firm within East Anglia in their search for a Audit Manager to join their Ipswich office. Our client champions a strong track record of growth and is renowned for prioritising staff development, featuring a comprehensive in-house training program for all team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing audit assignments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate audit files.
  • Supervising daily activities on client engagements.
  • Mentoring and supervising team members.
  • Reviewing work and assignments, offering constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Engaging directly with clients to discuss progress, address issues and share financial insights and business updates.
  • Contributing to networking efforts and cultivating strong client relationships.
  • Overseeing engagement profitability, including billing and collection processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • ICAEW/ ACCA/ ACA qualified or QBE.
  • UK practice experience.
  • Experience planning and leading audits with strong technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of audit and accounting software.
  • Exerience managing teams and supervising staff members.
