MacKenzie King are exclusively working with a professional services firm in Ipswich to recruit a Finance Director. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer you will work as a member of the senior leadership team providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure the Company’s financial commitments are met. As Finance Director you will be to develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and control of the Company’s business.

Key Accountabilities to include:

-         Overall responsibility for the Finance team, ensuring that all finance and anti-money laundering procedures are adhered to.

-         Responsible for the design and implementation of the Company’s finance and compliance strategies in support of the overall business strategy.

-         Prepare and present the annual accounts

-         Control all financial and accountancy matters including month end reports, management accounts, cash flow management, statutory accounts, compliance, presentation of management accounts and KPIs

-         Support the Company through change processes, providing sound financial advice.

-         Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure that the company complies with finance requirements.

-         Prepare reports for the Company’s external auditors

-         Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.

-         Ability to perform financial analysis on the Company to predict financial health.

-         Oversee the Company’s payroll

You will be a professionally qualified Accountant with experience of managing and leading teams. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and thrive on working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Creativity and critical thinking will play a key part in this role as will excellent IT Skills.
