Due to their continued success, our client, a highly regarded Financial Services specialist based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a dedicated Team Leader to lead and motivate a busy team of Advisors. Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience of leading and motivating a customer service/financial services team, with a natural drive to motivate individuals to achieve the best results.
  • Experience gained within the financial services industry or a similar regulated environment
  • A strong desire to support the team in achieving their individual and client related targets in a positive manner
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching individuals, understanding the need to adapt to the individuals learning style
  • The ability to understand the needs of customers, and be focused on customer outcomes
  • The ability to resolve complex customer problems / issues / complaints, and a strong understanding of customer service processes and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines with competing priorities

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Allocating work to the team, ensuring the Teams Service Levels are met
  • Ensure all standards in line with client’s expectations of quality, productivity and performance are achieved by the team
  • Planning and organising 1-2-1’s
  • Ensuring that the team adhere to deadlines and all internally agreed key performance indicators, service standards and regulatory reporting requirements are met
  • Delivering continual improvement within the team across the areas of technical understanding and competence, staff development, process efficiency, productivity and management information
  • Overseeing complaints processes, seeking support from Compliance where necessary
