- We are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Ipswich, focusing on container deliveries.
- Candidates must have a valid Class 1 driving license (C+E) and proven experience in curtainsider delivery or similar roles.
- The position offers a competitive pay rate of £17 per hour with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule and day shifts.
- Key responsibilities include safely operating Class 1 vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Applicants should possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods to various destinations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Ensure timely deliveries, adhering to scheduled routes to meet customer expectations.
Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
Comply with all traffic laws and regulations while on duty.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 driving license (C+E).
Proven experience in curtainsider delivery or similar transportation roles.
Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
