As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in fostering a love for learning and supporting our young learners to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:路 Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). 路 Assist with the day-to-day care and well-being of children, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment. 路 Work with small groups or individual children to support their learning and development. 路 Encourage children to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development. 路 Help maintain and organise classroom resources and materials. 路 Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and engage in regular professional development.
The Ideal Candidate:路 A passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey. 路 Experience working in an Early Years or primary school setting (desirable but not essential). 路 A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. 路 A caring and patient approach with a positive attitude. 路 Strong communication and teamwork skills. 路 Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent) are desirable but not required.
