Due to high demand, we are recruiting for a fantastic company in the shipping and logistics industry in an accessible area of Ipswich.

The role is for a European Freight Forwarder, the role includes fantastic benefits, a great working environment and the opportunity for a great career.

You will be required to provide solutions and manage the logistics operations of any products moving throughout Europe.

Key Duties:

  • Raise customs entries and transit documents for exports.
  • Deal directly with Clients on operational needs, quotations and liaising with suppliers to deliver on services.
  • Build and maintain client relationship to continue business with customers.
  • Support customers with logistics and customs queries.
  • Internal audit checks.
  • Work with HMRC and other customs authorities.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • European Operations experience.
  • Knowledge of customs process and requirements.
  • Competent in handling and submitting customs documentation, certificates and licences.
  • Knowledge of Tariffs.
  • Understanding if Inco Terms.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Good problem solving skills.
