Head of Safeguarding & Safety - CBT Therapist - Remote

Home-based, 40hrs/week

Salary: £56,000 - £62,000

Remit

Compass Associates are excited to be working with a leading provider of mental health and wellbeing services, to recruit an experienced CBT Therapist (with full BABCP accreditation) to join them as their Head of Safeguarding & Safety.

This is a newly created role where you will lead, develop and report on the Mental Health Services’ safeguarding and patient safety policies, practices and initiatives. As the service provides treatment for children, young people and adults, your role will involve overseeing the protection and safeguarding of patients, manage risk and support/train staff in safeguarding awareness and how to keep patients safe. This role spans both employed Therapists and the self-employed network of associate Therapists so a high level of up to date knowledge around statutory and regulatory frameworks is essential.

Candidate

The successful candidate must have:

  • A recognised degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full accreditation with the BABCP
  • Completed at least one specialist safeguarding qualification
  • Must have an additional core clinical qualification (e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or a Doctorate in Psychology)
