We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join our friendly Human Resources team on a full-time, permanent basis in our centrally located Ipswich office. This role involves providing comprehensive and effective administrative support and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Drafting employment contracts and managing the new starter process, including employment vetting checks and induction coordination.
  • Maintaining the HR system, preparing reports, logging sickness, and managing holiday requests.
  • Assisting with the leaver process and responding to employer reference requests.
  • Supporting early careers initiatives, including preparing contractual paperwork and assisting with recruitment and event logistics.
  • Providing recruitment support for junior hires, processing applications, and assisting with candidate sourcing.
  • General HR administrative tasks, including maintaining electronic employee files, administering firm benefits, and assisting with HR projects and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing customer-driven administration services.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and the ability to interact positively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, multitasking ability, and adeptness at working to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient planning and organisational skills with a proactive approach to managing a varied workload.
  • IT literacy is essential.
  • If you have a CIPD level 3 this is desirable but is not essential for this role.
