Night Support WorkerAgency Ref: 84851A job opportunity has arisen for a Night Support Worker in Ipswich. This is a 2 month temporary contract ongoing, and you’ll be required to work full time, 40 hours per week.

The role involves:Providing a night concierge service to residents and visitors within a young person’s homeless hostelConducting curfew checksControlling access to the buildingMonitoring CCTV systems to identify any possible incidentsUndertaking frequent and regular patrols of the building and monitoring any anti-social behaviourDealing with health and safety issuesActing as a fire warden in the event of a fire alarm being triggeredContacting the “on call” manager in the event of an emergency or serious incidentBeing compassionate and caring in the event a resident is feeling vulnerableDealing with mental health crisis that may arise

Additional requirements:Experience in a similar position working night shiftsAn enhanced DBS with adults and children’s work force check ideally from within three years or the willingness to obtain a new oneExperience working with vulnerable clients
