Job Title: Paraplanner

Location: Ipswich, UK (Office-based 2-4 days per week)

Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 plus bonus, pension contributions, and life cover

My client is a well-established financial planning firm with a dynamic team managing approximately 70 million in assets under management (AUM). Their focus is on financial planning, pensions, investments, and inheritance tax, catering to a diverse client base with AUM ranging from 100k to 6m.

We are looking for a Paraplanner or Junior Adviser to join them in a key role. The successful candidate will either be a qualified Paraplanner (DipPFS) with aspirations to progress to chartered status, or a junior professional looking to transition into a paraplanning role with the potential to advance to a senior advisory position over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct paraplanning activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Handle client relationships and consider attaining CAS status for occasional client reviews.
  3. Assist in lead generation and contribute to team-based initiatives.
  4. Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and investment strategies.
  5. Collaborate with the team to maintain a high level of service and profitability.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
  2. Strong drive and motivation to progress in the financial planning profession.
  3. Demonstrable education background, preferably to degree level.
