SIP Panel Maker

SIP Panel Maker - Spider is supporting one of only a handful of UK manufacturers of SIPS Panels (or Structural Insulated Panels). They are currently recruiting a number of Production Operatives/ Panel Makers to join them as an integral part of the team based in Mendlesham, near Stowmarket.

• Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am – 11am with occasional Saturday overtime

About the role:

As the SIP Panel Maker you will be supporting the manufacturing of industry-leading SIP panels. You will be an integral part of the production team, ensuring that every panel meets the stringent quality standards.

Other key duties will include:

• Manufacture SIP panels in accordance with company tolerances and standards
• Accurately cut sheets of OSB (Oriented Strand Board) to size.
• Always adhere strictly to company health and safety policies.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
• Handle any reasonable requests from the Director as part of the role's scope.

About you:

You will be hardworking, with energy and a strong work ethic. Precision and accuracy will be second nature to you, with strong attention to detail. A good timekeeper and capable of handling the physical demands of the role. You will also hold a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the client’s location.  It would be ideal if you held a forklift licence.
