They are looking for a motivated Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their finance team where youll have the opportunity to develop your skills in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation and Payroll. In this role you will be working 9am 5:30pm Monday Friday.
Your day-to-day duties include:
- Learning to purchase invoices credit notes
- Helping to prepare payments to suppliers.
- Assisting with posting supplier payments and allocating them.
- Getting hands-on with generating and sending invoices.
- Learning how to record customer receipts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assisting with managing our invoice financing and factoring accounts.
- Supporting payroll processing for weekly and monthly staff using Sage 50 Payroll (training provided!).
- Helping maintain records of wages, deductions, and benefits
- Assisting in reconciling bank accounts to ensure accurate cash flow

The ideal candidate is driven and has a keen interest in finance, accounting and business. You will have great attention to detail, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and grow your skills, strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS Office application. As well as this, you will need strong organisational skills and be highly adaptable to changing environments.
