The Role

We now have an exciting opening for aWeighbridge / Store Operativeto join our expanding team, based atIGT.

The main purpose and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To weigh all delivery & collection vehicles before and after discharge
  • To complete/maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • To take samples and carry out specified quality checks where required
  • To ensure that all vessels are loaded/discharged in an efficient manner
  • To ensure that all storage areas and handling equipment are kept clean and fit for purpose

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in a store or port environment. Previous weighbridge experience and use of shunting vehicles would be beneficial but not essential. To succeed in this role, you will need be reliable, organised, hard working and a great team player who can go that extra mile when needed.
