This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established provider as a Deputy Manager in a 4-bed LD residential home near Ipswich. With clear pathways to Registered Manager roles, this position offers genuine career growth in a supportive and well-structured environment.
 About the Role:As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home. You will work directly with children and young people with Learning Disabilities (LD), ensuring their safety, well-being, and development while also handling administrative responsibilities.
 Key Responsibilities:-
Leadership & Team Support:
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Lead, support, and mentor a team of Support Workers.
- Assist with staff training, supervisions, and performance management.

Direct Support & Care:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people with LD.
- Implement and oversee individual care plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.

Compliance & Administration:
- Support with rotas, care planning, risk assessments, and Ofsted compliance.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and quality care are maintained.
- Work a mix of on-rota shifts and dedicated admin time to balance hands-on and managerial duties.

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
