Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a growing Health and Safety Consultancy that specialises in machinery safety, who are looking to recruit a new Junior Health and Safety Consultant. The organisation works with a wide range of clients within the Manufacturing space, including numerous household names, covering the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities of the Junior Health and Safety Consultant will include:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation across client sites
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health and safety related queries
- Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings
The successful Junior Health and Safety Consultant will have:
- Experience working in Health and Safety is desirable
- NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
- Full UK Driving license is essential
- Must be willing to travel across the UK and Europe with periods away from home
