Newly created career opportunity based from Ipswich with occasional UK wide travel to twenty five sites. The locations consist of offices, warehouses and dockyards. The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Overseeing compliance of company locations to statutory, regulatory and industry specific requirements.
- Monitoring vehicle, plant, machinery and equipment logs to ensure inspection, certification and servicing programmes are completed.
- Preparing and undertaking audits of the Integrated Management System, to 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards.
- Providing monthly health and safety reports to the Group Management.
The Health & Safety Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Minimum three years health & safety. Any industry sector can be considered.
- Ability to influence and build relationships effectively at all levels.
- Experience auditing to 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards.
