Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a positive impact on their education? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a vibrant Primary School in Ipswich.

Contract: Full Time, Long Term


About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced teachers to support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects. Your role will involve working with small groups or individual pupils to provide targeted support, helping them achieve their full potential. You'll have the opportunity to work in a nurturing environment and be part of a committed team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our students.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the delivery of lessons and activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
Support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
Help with classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Support students with a range of learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.


Requirements:
A passion for working with children and a desire to support their learning journey.
Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
A positive, adaptable, and patient approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be an advantage but not essential.
