We are delighted to be partnering with a leading Chartered Accountancy who are currently in a period of rapid acquisitive growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the payroll team in Ipswich, overseeing and leading the team in the ensuring the delivery of a quality payroll service to a diverse range of clients.

The Payroll Manager will report into the Managing Partner and have direct line management responsibilities for the team of 4.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processing of high volume, multi-frequency client payrolls
  • Supporting with the implementation of the new payroll system
  • Identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes as necessary
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with the portfolio of clients
  • Ongoing training, development and support of the payroll team

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable payroll experience within a bureau or chartered accountancy. Excellent people management experience is required, as well as having an appetite for process improvement & transformation.
