Your new companyMy client is seeking an experienced payroll professional with a proven track record of running a high volume payroll to join them in the job role of Payroll Manager at their Ipswich office.

Your new roleWorking in a supportive payroll and HR team, you will be responsible for managing the payroll team (1-2) and ensuring the efficient processing and running of the payroll including:- Responsibility for the accurate and efficient processing of the monthly payroll, ensuring that payments are made on time- Managing and mentoring payroll colleagues- Responding to and resolving employee queries around their salary, tax, NI etc- Payroll and month-end reconciliations- Starters and leavers payroll administration- Year-end payroll processes, and internal and external customer queries in relation to this- Pension administration- System and processes review and improvement implementation- Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisationWhat you'll need to succeedYou will have experience of managing and running a high volume payroll end to end, alongside a proven track record of building and managing stakeholder relationships. Experience of managing or supervising small payroll teams would be highly beneficial.
