HR Advisor£30,000 - £35,000 DOEMonday to Thursday (8:30 –17:00) Friday (8:30 – 16:00)39 hours per weekPermanent Near Ipswich On behalf of our client based near Ipswich, we are searching for a HR Advisor to join their supportive, friendly, and busy team. Working closely with the Senior Managers and Directors, the successful candidate will be required to be strategic when achieving goals, resolving conflict, and will be assisting the HR Manager in implementing organisational changes. Previous experience within a HR position is essential as the requires knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. Due to the location of this position, a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including: creating job descriptions, posting vacancies, and helping to select and hire candidates
  • Ensure company compliance is in line with employment laws and regulations, making sure policies and processes remain up to date
  • Manage Employee Relations cases across the business including handling performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, absence management and any other dispute resolutions
  • Assist with training and development for all employees including sourcing, booking, coordinating and keeping training material and files up to date
  • Coordinating internal forums, including employee reps meeting and quarterly HR briefings
  • Support company onboarding and offboarding processes
 Key Skills:
  • Previous experience within a HR Advisor role is essential
  • Understanding of employment law and experience of writing detailed HR policies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
