Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for driving business success through people solutions? We’re looking for a People Business Partner to provide high-level HR support across a division or a forward thinking organisation ensuring business objectives align with effective people practices.About the RoleAs a People Business Partner, you will be the lead HR contact, working closely with managers to provide expert guidance on all people-related matters. Your role will focus on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives. You will be a key player in ensuring best HR practices, compliance, and policy updates while providing strategic HR solutions to support business growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the HR lead, advising managers on all people-related matters, including absence, retention, performance, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
  • Partner with managers to understand business needs and provide HR solutions that enhance team performance.
  • Lead and oversee HR cases to resolution, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Coach and develop managers on effective people management, including performance management and workforce planning.
  • Support and implement structural changes and organisational development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Wellbeing & Engagement team to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide monthly HR KPI reports, including absence, turnover, and employee relations case data.
  • Ensure policies and procedures comply with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Line manage and develop HR colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Essential)
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience (Essential)
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner (Desirable)
  • Strong employment law knowledge and HR best practice expertise
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
  • Organisational and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience implementing HR policies, wellbeing initiatives, and transformational change programs
  • Proven ability to coach, support, and challenge managers effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with resilience and diplomacy
