My client is a global leader within logistics and luxury goods. They are looking to hire a Business Analyst to join their IT team, reporting to the Head of IT.

The Business Systems Analyst role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day support and development of the Company’s Operations and Infrastructure projects as well Stock Management, Warehouse Management and Logistics Vision software provided by OnTech.

As a Business Analyst you should have experience across most of the following: -

Responsibilities

Identify and define the business needs of business users and stakeholders and help to determine solutions to meet business needs or resolve business problems.

Act as a conduit and translator between the business and technical teams.

Define/gather requirements and undertake data analysis or data modelling activities.

Lead the evaluation, design, and implementation new business systems; identify enhancements to existing systems; measure user adoption for system changes.

Research and analyse existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.

Use data visualization tools like Power BI to create intuitive dashboards that effectively communicate key metrics.

Provide regular updates to the Head of IT.

Project manage with the support of the Head of IT small to medium sized projects.

Help drive the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Teams across the wider business.

Assist with the smooth running of the Microsoft business applications (Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive), including the training of users, management and maintenance of user guides and training materials.

Assisting with the smooth running of the Stock Management, Warehouse Management and Logistics systems, identifying issues, and helping to resolve them through trouble shooting, logging support cases and monitoring issues which are raised to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.

Requirements

Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Must have strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Applications (Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and would preferably had been part of a team who have implemented these tools within a similar organisation.

Experience of migrating from Google drive to Microsoft SharePoint would be preferrable.

Must have experience of managing external vendors.

Must have strong leadership and project management skills to drive the completion of projects.
