We are proud to be working on behalf of a prestigious Financial Services company based in Ipswich, who are currently looking for an experienced Business Information Analyst to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the executional delivery of the business’ data strategy.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a similar Business Analysis role, ideally within the Tech or FS/Fintech industry
- Experienced in statistical analysis and data modelling techniques
- Degree educated in a role related discipline, such as data science, mathematics, or statistics
- Proven proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages
- Extensive knowledge SQL, PowerBI, Python, Microsoft Power Apps as well as GA, and Big Query
- Excellent problem-solving skills, confident with large datasets and complexity
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- A creative, innovative, and inquisitive mindset
- A genuine passion for data, and the desire to learn and adopt new technologies
- A willingness to travel between offices in Ipswich/London as and when required
The Role:
- Supporting data-driven decision making across the organisation to help the business capture, grow and retain higher client value and drive ROI, as well as optimising internal processes
- Extracting, processing, and analysing data from diverse sources to create actionable insights, visualising them in interactive dashboards, while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Working closely with data engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders, to help identify patterns, trends, and opportunities to drive business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
