We are seeking a Reporting Manager for Reporting and Data Analytics to join our clients Project Controls team. This role is pivotal in managing and strategically enhancing delivery performance management information to ensure the successful delivery of their critical Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive reporting framework that aligns with governance structure and delivery model, driving continuous improvement in reporting and data analytics.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the Performance Reporting Framework, actively promoting its integration within the overall project.
  • Facilitate the advancement of ‘Digital by Default’ in reporting across the project.
  • Support the establishment and development of a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Framework.
  • Ensure the timely production and high quality of all month-end Performance Reports, and respond proactively to ad hoc information requests.
  • Establish best practice guidance and processes to support the team in creating world-class reporting outputs.
  • Maintain and communicate report templates and document configurations in accordance with the reporting cycle and central PMO reporting guidance.
  • Manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the business, including the MD’s office, functional heads, and programme delivery teams, to provide feedback and continuously improve report quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in managing performance reporting at various levels within a mega project environment, from project and programme up to Board level.
  • Significant knowledge of Project Controls functions and the ability to develop exemplary reports independently.
  • Experience in both project and business reporting requirements, with the ability to demonstrate what exceptional reporting entails.
  • Proficiency in assuring data and writing narrative for multiple levels in a programme, project, or business.
  • Strong skills in graphic design and data visualisation principles to ensure clarity and insight in reporting.
  • Ability to manage a complete reporting framework and drive continuous improvement in reporting and data analytics.
