About the Role:
A leading building and construction company in Ipswich is hiring an IT Support Manager to lead a team of 3. This is a hands-on role managing IT operations, projects, and strategy while delivering top-tier support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & mentor the IT support team
- Manage internal IT projects & service improvements
- Oversee system security, backups & cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure)
- Handle escalated IT support issues
- Maintain IT policies, contracts & software licensing
Skills required to be considered:
- Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure AD experience (certifications ideal)
- Knowledge of Windows Server & cloud solutions
- Awareness of cyber security standards (Cyber Essentials, ISO27001)
- Proven people management experience is essential to be considered for this role
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm
- Solid background in an IT support manager & service management focused role
