Information Security Project Delivery Manager - £519 per day - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working - contract until 31/12/2025.

My client, one of the UKs largest producers of ZERO CARBON electricity, is looking for an experienced Information Security Project Delivery Manager to join them on a contract basis.

As the Information Security Project Delivery Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple security initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and ensure that all security deliverables meet quality expectations and deadlines.

 

Role responsabilities - 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of information security projects, including risk assessments, security tool implementations, and compliance initiatives.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal stakeholders, external vendors, and consultants.

Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.

Ensure projects align with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).

Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.

Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the project team.


Qualifications and Experience - 

Proven experience as a Project Manager in information security, IT, or related fields.

Strong knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, and technologies.

Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2).

Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
