About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team for a 3-month contract. You will be working across multiple schools in the Ipswich area, providing high-quality IT support to a variety of users. The role requires quick problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and technical expertise in managing IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide first and second-line support to end users * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.* Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot devices such as laptops, desktops, and printers.* Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.* Install and configure software and ensure all systems are running smoothly.* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring users are supported effectively and efficiently.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in IT support roles, ideally within MSP and education environments.* Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory.* Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).* Ability to work independently and within a team.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different sites across Ipswich
