We are recruiting for an additional School ICT Technician to manage school networks and computer systems. This role involves reactive and proactive maintenance tasks on all ICT equipment, operating systems, and core applications. The environment is fast-paced but fun, operating like an entrepreneurial start-up with the security of a well-established business. Location: IpswichSalary:£30k dependant on experienceHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Managing school networks and computer systems.
  • Carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance tasks on all ICT equipment, operating systems, and core applications.
  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students.
  • Gaining experience with Windows Desktop and Windows Server OS, including DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • Working with GoogleChromeBooks and iPad deployment and setup.
  • Supporting commercial sector clients when not attending your allocated school.
  • Collaborating with personnel from different teams within the company.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good understanding and practical skills in Windows Desktop and Windows Server OS, including DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with GoogleChromeBooks and iPadsetup.
  • Excellent customer handling and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work proactively with good planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Windows Server experience is advantageous.
  • Own car and driving licence required due to the nature of field work.
