They are currently recruiting for a production supervisor to support their assembly function , training and progression will be available for the right applicant.Main duties will include -  Motivate and drive forward the Assembly Area Department to meet the output requirements. Organise and manage the Assembly Area Team, inclusive of all Shift personnel, to include arranging holiday, sickness and weekend Engineer callout cover. Liaise with the Operations Manager on the requirements of the Assembly Area Department. Monitor, order and liaise with suppliers for the Assembly Area Department. To guide, monitor and support staff performance in conjunction with the Operations Manager. Investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions Driving forward improvements to completion To assist production when necessary to maintain production output. To create/re-write Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures where necessary and then with these assist in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff To provide assistance as and when required to any and all members of the teamCandidate attributes –  Experience of supervising and organising a Production team in a 24/7, or at the very least, a shift type manufacturing environment. Be familiar with Assembly Technology and Manufacturing Equipment, and also have at least 5-10 years’ experience of working in a high output production environment. Applicants will have a very good mechanical aptitude and be familiar with ISO 9001:2015. Organised, possessing excellent man-management skills and most importantly, be willing to go the extra mile. The candidate will also be required to work outside of normal working hours to spend time with each shift on a regular basis.Skills:production, manager, supervisor, assembly, motivated leader, ISO practices, organised, communication skills, manufacturing, engineering,Qualifications:own transport Keywords:production, manager, supervisor, assembly, motivated leader, ISO practices, organised, communication skills, manufacturing, engineering,
