PR Account Executive

PR Account Executive - Ipswich - Hybrid - £25,000-£30,000

We’re recruiting for a business that prides itself in working within impactful industries that have a positive impact on our environment. This role will allow you to join an expert team of PR marketeers and give you the opportunity to work with exciting clients.

The Role:

• Oversee media monitoring, update coverage logs, and provide reports.
• Track relevant media and social media for client opportunities.

• Write press releases, blogs, e-newsletters, and social media content with minimal revisions.
• Work closely and Senior Account Executives, Account Managers and Account Directors in a supportive environment
• Spot and create publicity opportunities.
• Identify and suggest forward feature opportunities weekly.

• Build media relationships, manage press release distribution, and sell stories to media.
• Support media promotional activities and event organization.
• Confidently pitch ideas to journalists.

• Actively contribute to meetings and presentations, including new business pitches.

The Candidate:

• You’ll have worked in a marketing communications role and be confident with coherent and factual writing
• Confident verbal communicator, working in a client facing environment
• Ability to manage press release distribution
• Be able to manage multiple projects and have a growth mindset for your clients

This role will suit a candidate that is looking to develop their career within marketing communications, you’ll have at least 1-2 years commercial experience in a relevant position and be passionate about strengthening your craft.
