Finance Administrator required to join the dedicated central Finance Team for our client, a leading Business and Advisory firm in Ipswich, during a period of sustained growth.

As a Finance Administrator, you will ensure timely and accurate processing of financial information. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and based at modern offices in central Ipswich, with the option of Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Review and process weekly out-of-pocket and credit card expenses
  • Handle daily cash and banking tasks, including direct debit mandates
  • Assist with month-end close processes and practice management system tasks
  • Administer the tax investigation insurance scheme and resolve client queries
  • Monitor the central team inbox and respond to queries

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player, self-motivated, hardworking, and flexible
  • Accurate, methodical, and detail-oriented
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent UK experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 4 GCSEs Grade C/Grade 4 including English and Maths
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Competent in dealing with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a practice/professional services environment
  • Knowledge of VAT on expenses and Sage Line 50
