Are you a passionate Conveyancing/Real Estate Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client’s In-House legal team in Suffolk is expanding, and we want you to be a part of it! This team handles a diverse range of legal matters, including corporate, commercial, residential and commercial property, and wills, trust, and probate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of conveyancing cases, including residential and commercial sales, purchases, remortgages, commercial leases, and property development.
  • Assist with property aspects related to probate work and tax planning implementation.
  • Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on property-related issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, and transfer deeds.
  • Collaborate with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Stay updated on property law and regulations, ensuring compliance with local and national standards.
  • Attend meetings and negotiations on behalf of clients as needed.
  • Promote real estate services through seminars, social media, and publications, and engage in business development opportunities.
  • Support other legal department members and firm departments with property-related queries.
  • Meet productivity, recoverability, and fee income targets.
  • Work collaboratively across various departments and take initiative to work independently.

Desired Skills:

  • Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive (0-2 years PQE plus).
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial property law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and capable of managing a caseload independently.
  • Membership in the Law Society of England and Wales.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
