Main areas of responsibility:

  • Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in property transactions
  • Managing diaries and arranging appointments
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Handling telephone calls and emails
  • Assisting with paperwork and completion processes
  • Completing accounts paperwork
  • Typing documents and maintaining files
  • Responding to queries regarding files telephonically or in person
  • Completing administrative tasks to ensure that the conveyancer can complete their responsibilities efficiently
  • Supporting the conveyancer in their duties, ranging from administrative support to acting as the conveyancer’s right hand in a more in-depth coordinating role

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar conveyancing role
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Superb IT skills, MS Office and good typing skills
  • Very good time management
  • Interest in property law
  • Ability to use own initiative and work well within a team
