Role Overview:

  • Maintain a pipeline of mortgage applications, to ensure that Lenders and Underwriters requirements are met, enabling cases to progress through to completion in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client lending policies and application requirements for each lender
  • Liaise with solicitors and third parties to ensure loan conditions and documentation requirements are fulfilled
  • Ensure information relating to borrowers and their loans is current and accurately recorded on the system
  • Receive and resolve loan completion enquiries from solicitors
  • Identify, recommend and implement enhancements to processes and procedures
  • Understand the underwriting process in order to minimise risk

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the applicable regulations/codes governing the financial services industry
  • General understanding of mortgages and the application process
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to prioritise workload on a daily basis to meet deadlines
