Your new companyWe are working with a long-established food service client in Suffolk who is recruiting for a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor.The company offers a large range of fresh, chilled and frozen foods and supplies to a number of businesses, schools, restaurants and care homes across East Anglia.Your new roleWe are seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to support our clients' night operations team. Reporting to the Night Shift Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the picking, packing, and loading processes, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse and adhering to Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in leading night operations to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Support and oversee picking, packing, and loading activities.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Uphold Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance.

The working hours for this role will be nightshift, Sunday to Thursday nights:Sunday - Midnight to 6amMonday to Thursday - 9pm to 6amWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following experience and skills:

  • Ideally you will have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Confident team leader.
  • Experience in multi-temperature environments.
  • Strong commitment to Health and Safety standards.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, 'Can-Do' attitude.
  • Flexible with working hours to meet business needs.
  • Well-organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with MHE, Counterbalance, and/or Reach truck licence (desirable).
