About the Role:
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of their warehouse. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives on multi-tasking and loves the challenge of meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be the driving force behind a small, dedicated team, ensuring that they are motivated, efficient, and effective in their duties. You will be working 5 days per week, including Sundays for March – August.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Liaise with Senior Management
- Lead the warehouse team, manage daily workload distribution, and review staff performance with Senior Admin
- Enforce Health & Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Safe Working Policies at all times.
- Train new warehouse staff
- Prepare for deliveries and containers.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance processes and improve team efficiency.
About you:
The ideal Warehouse Supervisor should have a minimum of 1 year working in a ‘hands on’ Warehouse Team Leader or Supervisor role in a busy environment. Experience in picking and packing for online retail being desirable. A keen eye for detail is essential with a strong commitment to completing tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as strong organisational and time management skills. You should be adaptable, able to organise, plan, and prioritise a changing workload, and must have your own transport to reach our client’s warehouse.
