Time Appointments are working alongside a rapidly growing Claims Management company who are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Manager to strengthen their Claims department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing, motivating, and coaching a team of Motor Claims Adjusters
  • Involvement in all aspects of Insurance Claims Handling, dealing with the full cycle of client’s claims from instruction through to settlement.
  • Advising and updating clients on how best to present their claims, assisting them with how to negotiate with insurers to achieve the best outcome.
  • Monitor and improve the claims process and identify areas for efficiency gains and customer satisfaction improvements
  • Manage escalated or complex claims
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies at all stages of the claims processes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive Motor Claims Management experience, with a proven track record in successfully managing a Motor Claims Team
  • Market knowledge
  • Multi-jurisdictional exposure
  • Ability to drive growth
  • Fully competent in all aspects of claims management and people development
  • Proven influencing and problem-solving capabilities
  • A sound technical knowledge and understanding of Technical Motor Claims and be willing to take on caseloads
  • MOJ/OIC experience isessential
