This main contractor provides national construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector customers across a comprehensive range of markets.
About the Site Manager position
- Co-ordination and managing all site personnel to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Using specified drawings and instructions in order to keep to programme and within budget
- Leading and motivating the team
- Supervise all direct labour, co-ordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure all operations are carried out efficiently and within accordance to the construction programme.
About the Ideal Site Manager candidate
- An experienced Site Manager candidate will be educated in HNC/HND Construction or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of health & safety legislation
- CITB
- SMSTS
- First Aid at work
- CSCS card
- A strong leader with ability to identify required development areas across the team.
- Motivate the staff to perform
- Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes from 5million to 20million.
- Refurbishment and new build experience is desired.
- Full UK Driving License is essential
