If so, we've a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Site Manager to join us covering the Eastern Counties. This main contractor provides national construction and infrastructure services to private and public sector customers across a comprehensive range of markets.

About the Site Manager position

  • Co-ordination and managing all site personnel to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.
  • Using specified drawings and instructions in order to keep to programme and within budget
  • Leading and motivating the team
  • Supervise all direct labour, co-ordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure all operations are carried out efficiently and within accordance to the construction programme.

About the Ideal Site Manager candidate

  • An experienced Site Manager candidate will be educated in HNC/HND Construction or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • CITB
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at work
  • CSCS card
  • A strong leader with ability to identify required development areas across the team.
  • Motivate the staff to perform
  • Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes from 5million to 20million.
  • Refurbishment and new build experience is desired.
  • Full UK Driving License is essential
