Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a processing or heavy engineering background?

In return, we offer a salary of £33,047 - £38,921 plus up to 10% Bonus (~ £3,892), Company Pension, 25 Holiday Days + Bank Holiday, Generous on-call scheme, Outage overtime opportunity and benefits catalogue.We'll help you progress and develop yourself further and will support you with creating a development plan to achieve that!

What will I be doing?

  • Your role is to provide reactive and planned maintenance for all mechanical processes and- activities on our Energy Recovery site at Great Blakenham (Suffolk EfW).
  • You will provide on-site expertise on all mechanical systems including fan groups, boiler firing system, conveying systems, rotating equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

What are the requirements?

  • Completion of a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
  • Qualified to City and Guilds level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years maintenance engineering experience in a process, steam raising or heavy engineering environment.
  • Experience working under a permit to work system.
  • Experience in using computer maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Ability to work on own initiative, troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
