Job Profile
I am seeking a qualified and experienced Architect with previous experience in a similar role or ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of architectural design and project management. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to lead and inspire a team of talented architects and designers."

Responsibilities

  • Managing the overall operations of the architectural practice.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of senior architects and designers.
  • Overseeing planning and pre-application processes.
  • Liaising with external consultants and stakeholders.
  • Representing the firm at planning committees and other relevant forums.
  • Managing projects involving new developments, historic and listed buildings, and both domestic and commercial buildings.


Skills/Experience

  • Senior-level experience in an architectural practice.
  • Proven track record in planning, pre-applications, and dealing with external consultants.
  • Experience speaking at planning committees.
  • Strong background in managing projects across various types of buildings, including historic and listed properties.


Qualifications

  • RIBA Part 3
  • ARB (Architects Registration Board)
  • CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists)


Software Proficiency

  • AutoCAD or ArchiCAD
  • Revit
  • Vector Works


Hours

  • Full-time
  • Bespoke office-based role, hours and package to suit you, balanced with the needs of the business
