Oliver James are supporting a prominent, Globally known name in the insurance sector in their search for a Pension Risk & Control Senior Analyst. This is a hybrid, permanent position located in the Ipswich office.
Role & Responsibilities- Responsible for embedding the risk and control framework in line with the Pensions Regulator.
- Provide oversight for the risk and control framework.
- Presenting committee reports to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct annual risk assessments and scenario analyses.
- Continually update and modify risk management strategies based on changing market conditions.
- Collaborate with other internal teams within the business.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders about the risk landscape.
- Staying up to date with changing regulation.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles.
- Experience working within pension insurance or financial services, with knowledge of the pension industry.
- Proven success of implementing internal risk framework.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex risk scenarios.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask.
