Senior Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support across various departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our office in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will be flexible, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong client-facing skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform general office administration duties, including reception tasks, handling calls, managing post, scanning, and serving refreshments during client meetings.
  • Manage facilities, including overseeing cleaning and maintenance contractors and handling office supplies.
  • Support group administration tasks such as work planner amendments, monitoring deadlines, reconciling billing sheets, and raising bills.
  • Handle client administration, including system updates, creating client profiles, managing engagement letters, conducting Anti Money Laundering reviews, and preparing various client-related correspondence.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed, such as binding, creating PowerPoint presentations for tenders, organising group events, managing mailshots, and booking hotels and train tickets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience in a similar role.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively without close supervision.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Awareness of GDPR regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for occasional travel to other office locations.
