Part time Carer is required for our professional, privately owned care company in Ipswich who take great pride in ensuring all the care they provide is carried out with utmost attention to those needing their services within their own homes. In your role as Part Time carer, you will be visiting various patients in and around Ipswich who can be elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness in providing them with a personal care service created individually to their needs whilst always delivering with the utmost care and attention. As Part Time carer, you will be compassionate with the desire to provide a first-class service as you will be playing a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence within the comfort of their own homes.
The Role
- Visiting patients in their own homes and providing them with the care required
- Providing personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks to clients
- Dealing with medication Support
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Carrying out general household Tasks
- Companionship
- Assisting with mobility
- Constantly and always ensuring records are maintained and kept up to date
- Providing liaising both internally and externally wherever is needed
- Emergency Response.
- Monday to Friday 8,10 or 12 hours shifts

The Person
- Must possess a Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a carer
- Flexible attitude happy to take on different tasks as required for each person needing care
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally possess a NVQ in health and social care or equivalent
- Abler to work on own as well as part of team
- Compassionate with the desire to provide a first-class service
- Must possess a full driver’s license and access to a vehicle
