Recycling & Cleaning Operative

Location: Ipswich

Pay: 11.44 per hour

Hours: Mon to Fri 9.15am to 6pm (40 hours per week)

Duties:

Scanning returned equipment into the correct area prior to cleaning
Cleaning and washing mobility aids and products
Sanitising items of medical furniture
Ensuring all stock control processes are followed and items are in the correct location
Booking new stock in and barcoding appropriately
Checking items can be returned to shelf in clean and fit for purpose condition
Following the guidelines for dealing with scrap equipment disposal and to carefully follow the health and safety guidelines regarding the control of hazardous substances
Adhering stringently to processes regarding stock accountability
Unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and competent manner
Use of a scanner to move stock and pick items of equipment for deliveries
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse
