MacKenzie King are recruiting for a Temporary Payroll Assistant to support a local organisation during a busy period for 2-3 months. The primary responsibility as a Temporary Payroll Assistant is to collate monthly payroll information for submission to external Accountants. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify, and organise monthly payroll data (e.g. timesheets, overtime, absences, bonuses).
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate and complete before submission to external accountants.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll matters and escalate as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for payroll and accounting purposes.
  • Provide support with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks.
