We are thrilled to be working with a global leader in the Insurance industry who continues to go from strength to strength. Our client is seeking to add some more property claims experience into their Large Loss team. As a senior claims technician, you will be responsible for handling complex Property clais such as fire's or floods.

Duties:

  • Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims with a potential of 2.5million from notification through to settlement.
  • Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend.
  • Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community.
  • Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters and other suppliers.
  • Regular communication with policyholders and their representatives and underwriting colleagues.

What are we looking for?

  • You'll have extensive experience in handling high value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least 2.5million
  • You'll be educated to A-Level or degree standard, or have an equivalent professional qualification (ACII/FCII/CILA).
  • An inspiring leader with empathy and flexibility of approach to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Able to deliver exceptional service to your customers.
  • Developed communication and interpersonal skills and influencing and negotiating skills.
