Our client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and hardworking Engineer to join their team.

They are based in Ipswich and serve the beautiful Suffolk coastal area and beyond.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • At least 3 years of boiler maintenance experience (required)
  • Gas Safe certification (required)
  • OFTEC qualification or good experience with oil (required)
  • Basic wiring knowledge.
  • Confident with all heating system inc. low loss headers and 1 pipe systems.
  • A multi-skilled engineer with installation experience
  • Ability to work independently, showing initiative and a strong work ethic
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a great team
  • A full UK driving licence

What will your role look like?

  • Servicing and fault-finding on domestic gas and oil boilers
  • Replacing gas and oil-fired boilers
  • Carrying out general plumbing repairs and installations
  • Working on renewable installations including ground source and air source heat pumps (training provided for renewables)
  • Maintaining our high standards of service on quality projects
